SUSTAIN-CE addresses circular economy concepts and principles within the construction sector, aiming at integrating principles of sustainable development and circular economy (SD/CE) in civil engineering curricula, which should consider all steps from raw material to the life-cycle of the end-product in the construction sector.

RUST is an Erasmus+ funded project with a duration of 24 months (December 2020 to December 2022) and is set to enhance integration of training offer in countries with lower engagement or access to it while increasing transparency of competences and qualifications for the Manufacturing sector.

Innovation fostered by this project lies in the development of competences in education leaders and teaching/training staff – including aspiring new trainers/teachers and those who have been in the profession for a long time – for a change of mindset that requires a way of teaching in which active learning, experiential learning and project work have a main role.
