CreO project aims at harnessing the innovative potential of Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) professionals to industry-related sectors.

CreO Project will provide methodologies and materials so businesses can boost their performance taking advantage of students’ talent who are specialists in the world of ideas and creative thinking. Innovation can bring to businesses the improvement of their value propositions, differentiated according to their products, services, procedures and business strategies. This will put them at a competitive advantage.

On the other side, students on cultural and creative industries can have the opportunity to widen the scope of their professional activities, producing innovation by responding to real challenges with original solutions, in an industrial work-based learning context.

 

Training Curriculum and Materials for Cultural and Creative Industries Trainers

Teachers from CCIs in Vocational Education and Training should train their students in competencies related to the current industrial environment – Industry 4.0.

CreO Curriculum will include the knowledge and skills that teaching staff from CCIs must acquire in order to train their students in the skills required by industry.

1 – Advanced Manufacturing – Companies’ Mindset and Current Trends

2 – Virtual and Augmented Reality in Industry 4.0

3 – Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing in Industry 4.0

4 – Graphic Design for Marketing in Industry 4.0.

 

Work Based Learning Guide and Training Materials for Companies

Businesses from the industrial sector should know how to guide CCIs students through learning processes in the workplace. CreO Work-Based Learning Guide will be a document containing the guidelines that industrial businesses should follow to integrate these students into their operations. Additionally, training modules will be developed to achieve this goal.

4 – Collaborative Learning

5 – Collaborative Virtual Environment (2.0)

 

Virtual Learning Environment

A Virtual Learning Platform will be available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, and Slovenian. It will be a space in which businesses and teaching staff can acquire the knowledge and the skills which will facilitate the interaction between the CCIs-related VET system and industry/businesses. It will include all the training materials developed under the scope of the project.
