ISQ carries out pilot courses in Entrepreneurship and Mobility
ISQ is developing two projects in key areas in the European context – Entrepreneurship and Mobility, under the Lifelong Learning Programme. The projects are in the final piloting and testing stage of the models, materials and training tools. The relevance and timeliness of these topics challenged the team to test the pilot courses in Portugal, with two editions being conducted, one in Oeiras and the other in Vila Nova de Gaia, at ISQ’s Centro de Formação Norte (North Training Centre). Both editions were fully booked and trainee feedback was very important for the final adaptation work of both products. Between September – November, the Idea2Enterprise and Mobility Coach Projects will terminate with the launch of the finalised products, which will be available on the respective websites and with their presentation at the Final Conference for each Project, to take place in Italy and Germany. The objective of the From Idea to Enterprise Project is to provide young innovative minds the relevant skills to transform their ideas for products and services into a successful and sustainable company. This project was developed on the basis of European Certification and Qualification (ECQA) and involves partners from six European countries: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Italy and Portugal. The project aims to transfer the ResEUr training and certification programme, which covers all they key aspects associated with the process for setting up a new business, as well as the boost from the innovative power of existing companies. The main objective of the Mobility Coach Project is to boost the participation of young people and SMEs in intercultural learning processes and the promotion of Mobility as well as to support companies in hosting trainees. The consortium, which involves partners in seven countries: Germany, Belgium, Finland, Netherlands, Lithuania, Portugal and Turkey, is developing a training programme so that business trainers, teachers and tutors can better monitor trainees/students in their mobility and learning in an intercultural environment.
