Energy efficiency in buildings and renewable energy
ISQ will be attending the Workshop on “Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy”, organised by APEMETA on the 17th and 18th June in Lisbon, with the theme “Energy Efficiency Project: Exploitation Phase (Case Study)”. The theme that ISQ will be presenting relates to the exploitation phase of the Energy Efficiency project of the Hotel Corinthia in Lisbon, which received the Western Energy Project of the Year 2013 award, from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). The project, implemented in the Hotel Corinthia in Lisbon, was the result of a partnership between ISQ and Galp Soluções de Energia, and enabled a 25% reduction in energy consumption during the first six months of 2013, which corresponds to around 600,000 kWh and 290 tonnes of CO2. The event will address the theme from different angles: Energy Efficiency and Global Warming, Alternative Funding Models, Thermal Regulation, Energy Efficiency Policy in Buildings in Portugal, Energy Efficiency in Industry, Energy Efficiency Projects, Eco-Efficiency in Public Spaces.
