This post graduation program aims at developing skills in the areas of quality management in tourism destinations, companies and tourism services and to encourage the option for strategies based on sustainability, responsibility and quality. To effectively participate in the design, implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems in three areas: quality of the surrounding environment; services and support infrastructures aiming: To train managers in quality management for tourist activities, whether public or private in nature To promote the knowledge of systems and practices of quality management in destinations and companies To deepen knowledge of the techniques associated with the classification, qualification and certification of tourism activities To improve the knowledge of quality management techniques in the areas of renovation and tourist accommodation To learn the techniques of energy certification of buildings, maintenance of infrastructures and tourism facilities To apply the principles of sustainable development of tourism (environmental management, energy and social responsibility) Target group Graduates, preferably managers, executive officers and technical staff of companies and/or working in tourist activities or related with quality management in the areas of accommodation, catering, distribution, animation, information and tourist transport, municipalities, regional tourism entities, consultants, lecturers and students.
