Acronym: INVALUE Project designation: INVALUE – Eco-efficiency Services Platform and Industrial Preventive Maintenance Project code: NORTE-01-0247-FEDER-017990 Total Cost: 808,881.28 € Financing value: 588.143,39 €

Goals: The MAIN INVALUE project is to support the adaptation of companies to the new paradigms at the level of proactive Good Practices, with the development of an open platform for integrated sharing of information services that assists the entire process of data management and decision making, according to the current industrial domains, throughout the value chain. The resulting platform of the project will be able to collect data and turn it into useful information for the end user to use in decision making. This decision-making will be focused on two main aspects: • Predictive maintenance • Eco-efficiency The project is based on a methodology that includes the realization of 6 activities: Activity 1: Project Management Activity 2: Technical Specifications/Project Activity 3: Development Activity 4: Prototype Construction Activity 5: Tests and Tests Activity 6: Dissemination and Exploration The INVALUE Platform acts in order to improve the reliability of productive equipment at various levels, both in the field of predictive maintenance, being able to communicate actions to be taken early to avoid major breakdowns and losses, both in the environmental area and resource management, by having the possibility of returning indicators that allow optimizing the performance of equipment and reducing unnecessary consumption. Structurally this project presents the following goals:

  • Development of a flexible and integrated service platform that offers a consistent end-to-end architecture for hosting domain-specific services for information management;
  • Development and production of the prototype of a data acquisition platform, capable of interacting with sensors, intelligent objects, big data storage equipment and existing embedded systems;
  • Semantic representation of the data collected from the different heterogeneous sources, so that it can be interpreted and transferred homogeneously, to business analysis services and to the components of the operational service;
  • Definition of intelligent and adaptable interfaces for the provision of knowledge for the delivery of information and methods for the orchestration of services;
  • Validation of the service platform through a pilot in an industrial environment.

This project received support from the Northern Regional Operational Program – NORTE2020.     bandeira
