The Mobilizing Project INOVSTONE 4.0 – ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES AND SOFTWARE FOR NATURAL STONE, involves a Consortium of 24 entities led by CEI – Industrial Equipment Company, consisting of 11 Natural Stone Companies, 7 Technological Companies and 6 Entities of the Scientific and Technological System. The Inovstone Mobilizer Project 4.0 applied in October 2016 to Notice No. 10/SI/2016, System of Incentives for Research and Technological Development (SI R&DT), Mobilizing Programs, with no. 24,535, has as main objective the development of techniques and technologies that reorient the model of operations of the Ornamental Rock Sector (RO) for Industry 4.0. To achieve the objectives, the Project presents 9 PPS (Product, Process, Services), 8 IDI PPS and 1PPS Management and Promotion. Each PPS has specific objectives, but that together will meet the overall objective. The Project has an investment of 7,206,086.16€ and a non-reimbursable incentive of €4,586,821.40 for a three-year period until 2019. ISQ participates in PPS 1, PPS 4, PPS 6 and PPS 9. Inovstone 4.0 – Advanced Technologies and Software for Natural Stone is a Mobilizing Project of the Mineral Resources Cluster Action Plan. This Project arises from the need to highlight the dynamic capacity of the Ornamental Rock Sector (RO) and, at the same time, strengthen its competitiveness in the face of the new digital procurement model, particularly in the Context Building Information Model (BIM). The four structuring axes of this project are:

  1. Convergence with bim's global enforcement objectives in the CSA;
  2. The valorization of RO in the context of bim digital procurement (turning the stone into smart product);
  3. The convergence of production operations to Industry 4.0 mode and finally;

Convergence with the global green building initiative.
