GOALS Despite the growing number of innovative Circular Economy initiatives in Europe, many of them from civil society, these are characterized several times as sparse in time, space and membership. Many of them are doomed to failure, either for lack of visibility (and awareness) or for lack of cooperation actions. The main objective of the CIRCULINK project is to assist in the implementation of Circular Economy practices in SMEs, civil society and link existing Circular Economy projects and their stakeholders at local, national and European levels. The project will develop a face-to-face and online training program (b-learning), designed especially for SMEs, helping them in the process of transition to a Circular Economy, sharing practical cases, providing examples and recommendations on how to implement circular business models and interconnect them through a Collaboration Management strategy (CEN- TS 16555: 5). The target groups of the project are:

  • VET trainers, who will teach the b-learning course;
  • Main actors of the Circular Economy, entrepreneurs and representatives of SMEs interested in the theme of circular economy and / or in adapting a Circular Business Model in their companies.

  EXPECTED RESULTS The main tangible results of the project include:

  • A Circular Collaboration Manual covering five major areas of knowledge: Social Innovation, Collaboration Management (CEN-TS 16555:5), Diversity Management, Social Economy and Corporate Social Responsibility;
  • A set of training materials and methodologies, which include paradigmatic case studies and good practices of Circular Economy;
  • A digital learning platform and a collaborative area;
  • A Circular Economy Guide for Entrepreneurs;
  • Teaching and learning activities for internal staff;
  • Test training of developed materials;
  • National outreach events and a final international conference.

The CIRCULINK project aims to unite social innovation to the world of work, committing itself to sensitize its recipients to the advantages of Circular Business Models and their relationship with Social Innovation, through a b-learning training for corporate trainers, SMEs and circular economy entrepreneurs.
