One of the most important arable crops in Portugal, maize has suffered the threat of mycotoxins. These toxic substances have serious consequences for animal health, but also for human health. To ensure quality and safety in the national corn row, the Qualimilho project was created, which aims to develop forecasting models and a new decision support process, Micotox Alert.
