ISQ forms frames in i4.0
After all, what is this industry 4.0? "Through an accessible language and with an elementary approach from a technical point of view, ISQ has just launched Induce 4.0. It is an e-learning course that aims to present some of the key concepts of the new industrial revolution," explains Catarina Queiroga, coordinator of the R&D unit| ISQ Training and Qualification. "As the work begins "from the inside out", ISQ has decided to do this training to all its employees, to ensure that this transition to the progressive and growing incorporation of i4.0 technologies will reverse a more effective increase in its competitiveness and innovative character," stresses ISQ President Pedro Matias. This course will soon go to market! The qualification of the human resources of organizations, all without exception, is essential for the transformations that are taking place in the industrial fabric Portuguese, in terms of the evolution and incorporation of i4.0 technologies, are successful and help companies to increase their real competitiveness. Only in this way can we better understand the paradigm shift at stake and successfully adjust to the new logic of the market. This course was developed as part of a European project supported by erasmus+ in the field of promoting lifelong learning. It allows trainees to travel their formative path at their own pace and assess their own progress. The training includes 4 modules: Module 1: Introduction to Industry 4.0; Module 2: Solutions for Intelligent Production Environments in the manufacturing sector; Module 3: Intelligent Robotics; Module 4: Application of CPS / IoT along the process chain. The modules were developed within the ISQ Research team, in partnership with four other European reference entities in this area. Induce 4.0 complements other solutions for Portuguese organizations that ISQ already makes available to the market. This is the case SIM 4.0, a technological solution that allows the diagnosis of the degree of maturity of organizations in terms of i4.0 technologies, proposing a plan for implementing measures that allow the company to reorient itself to better incorporate these technologies and define its vision and strategy.
