ISQ closes partnership with Helexia company in the area of Electric Mobility
ISQ, in partnership with Helexia, an electric mobility operator, will now provide charging for electric vehicles. "ISQ, on its Tagus Park campus in Oeiras is the first to offer this service with two public filling stations," says Pedro Matias, President of ISQ. Two standard load (AC) charging stations with 2 2 22 kW and one fast load (DC) socket will be available with a 50 kW DC socket and a 43 kW AC socket. It will be possible to charge 4 vehicles simultaneously, 3 in AC and 1 in DC. Within its facilities, ISQ also has 6 more posts. The theme of clean energy and sustainable development is at the heart of ISQ's concerns. For this, it has been strengthening its fleet of electric vehicles and, alongside this initiative, "we have just invested more than half a million euros in a photovoltaic-based renewable energy project, with the installation of more than 2000 panels on the ISQ campus in Taguspark and other facilities across the country, representing an annual saving of 535 tonnes of CO2, corresponding to the planting of 3800 trees and an estimated savings in the energy bill of more than 150,000 euros/year", adds Pedro Matias. These projects are part of the sustainable and "green" growth strategy previously initiated by ISQ, both in terms of internal know-how and service provision in the context of sustainability, promotion and adoption of Renewable Energies. "ISQ operates in the area of energy transition in two aspects: energy efficiency, with solutions for buildings and industry, helping to reduce the carbon footprint in various industry ranks; and resource efficiency, helping companies reduce waste. This is the case of the circular economy and industrial symbiosis," concludes the President of ISQ. On green mobility, "ISQ is also betting on the hydrogen line where ISQ's skills go through the know-how of sustainability, materials and reliability, sensorization and algorithms, risk and safety assessment, training and qualifications, and quality assurance and control."
