ISQ Academy provides industrial automation i4.0

The 2nd edition of the Specialization in Automation, Robotics and Industrial Control – 4.0 that aims to prepare professionals for the design and implementation of robotization and industrial automation processes starts on November 29th. The industrial automation processes related to Industry 4.0 require professionals capable of knowing, from a multidisciplinary point of view, the programming, monitoring and connectivity techniques, as well as the technology and equipment that they will find in this context and that will be called to program, synchronize and control in an integrated way. For this, human resources with multidisciplinary competencies are needed that ISQ proposes to train with this course. "The Specialization in Automation, Robotics and Industrial Control – 4.0 is a practical and unique course for the latest technology available, the associated professional certifications and the active teaching method, where knowing how to do it is the watchword," says Madalena Pereira, training coordinator at ISQ Academy. The training path articulates the various areas of engineering in a progressive and structuring way, so that the trainee, after specialization, is able to autonomously develop the potential of new technologies in industrial processes: engineering and development of advanced automation and roboticsystems; alteration and reconfiguration of existing installations; optimization of machines and production processes and industrial digitization through the timing and integrated control of the process with the necessary supervision and Connectivity IoT.

"The Postgraduate Degree in Automation, Robotics and Industrial Control 4.0 was the perfect bet on my professional career since it strengthened my existing knowledge in electricity / electronics, automation, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial robotics. Skills in innovative control, supervision and industrial networks are also strengths to highlight. In addition to the professional certificates obtained at the end of graduate school, we have the great value of combining the theoretical component with the practical component, using state-of-the-art industrial equipment." ( ) comments Tiago Simões – TRIANGLE'S – CYCLING EQUIPMENTS SA, forming the 1st edition of the course.  "The frequency in the Graduate Program of Automation, Robotics and Industrial Control 4.0, allowed me to consolidate and acquire the skills inherent to the genesis of the concept of industry 4.0. THE ISQ Academy, provides its students with a training of excellence, with a very practical aspect and contact with equipment, which are at the forefront of technology. The automation, robotics, instrumentation, artificial vision and IOT components are emerging technological areas for the development of industrial applications and the training dedicated to this area is an asset for technicians and engineers, who contribute to the development of the industry in Portugal." – comments Jorge Silva, forming the 1st edition of the course.  "In a scenario where the work context requires an ever wider range of skills, this PG has the great advantage of housing multiple valences of electrotechnics, be it electricity, electronics, programming, communications and automation. All this is achieved through a methodology that values both theory with execution, allowing training to plan, execute, or even manage teams that develop projects of this nature." comments Diogo Lemos – EDP, graduating from the 1st edition of the course.
