H2Orizon in Seville: PORTUGAL IS GUEST OF HONOR AND ISQ BRINGS i40 SOLUTIONS TO WATER
On September 19-21, ISQ, at the invitation of the Portuguese Partnership for Water, will be present at the Water Innovation and Technology Hall, H2Orizon, in Seville, AT FIBES, the main fair complex in Seville. The "Efficient management of water in the digital world" will be the theme of H2Orizon, in the hall where Portugal is a guest of honor. ISQ will present to the Iberian market irrigation technologies with its partners CVRA – Alentejo Regional Wine Commission and COTR – Operational And Irrigation Technology Center – with whom it will develop projects in the field of water, energy, sustainability and circular economy, chemical analysis, soil, pre-inspection of sprayers, digitization (I4.0), training actions and Research and Development Projects. The ISQ Group will also present the services of the Laboratory that is boosting with the COTR in Beja, namely: measurement of water counters; evaluation of irrigation systems, water audits, maintenance of irrigation equipment and training. This conference is addressed to the Iberian market, although the Netherlands, France, Israel and Germany are also invited. The choice of Portugal as a guest of honor for this first edition of H2Orizon, results from the identification of similar challenges, especially south of the Tagus, and the sharing of water resources between Spain and Portugal. The interest also extends to regulatory and urban water management models. In addition to these factors, the invitation is also due to the recognition of good practices and experience of the water sector in Portugal. In this context, the participation of entities such as the Ministry of the Environment, the APA – Portuguese Environment Agency, ERSAR – Regulatory Body for Water and Waste Services, PPA – Portuguese Partnership for Water, LISWater – Lisbon International Center for Water, LNEC – National Laboratory of Civil Engineering, EDIA, COTR – Operational And Irrigation Technology Center, a Águas do Ribatejo, ISQ – Institute of Welding and Quality, Águas do Porto, EPAL – Empresa Portuguesa das Águas Livres, SMAS de Almada, Inout Automation Systems, CVRA – Alentejana Regional Wine Commission and AICEP. The Portuguese delegation to H2Orizon will be led by the Ministry of the Environment.
