TERESA is already in operation
The use of water as a source of electrical energy. The turbine TERESA Turbine Renewable Energy in supply system is installed in Aveiro and aims to reduce the power dependence in this area allowing to increase power generation through the use of pressure in excess in decreased water supply networks of the users rate and the reduction of CO2 emissions in the region and the country. The TERESA won the Green Project Awards 2012 award in the category “Efficiency and Resource Management”.
