SONDAR.LAB – Air Quality Laboratory 1

Sondar.i is an accredited private laboratory, market leader in Portugal, specialising in the area of gaseous emissions from stationary sources. It carries out gaseous emissions characterisation work for legal compliance purposes and calibrates automatic measuring systems according to the AST and QAL2 guarantee levels.

SONDAR.i was the first Portuguese private laboratory to be accredited to the reference standard EN ISO/IEC 17025 – General competence requirements for testing and calibration laboratories.

SONDAR.i is currently a member of the CT-71 technical working group – Technical standardisation committee – Air Quality, SC1 – Stationary Sources. This committee forms part of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).

It is also a member of the RELACRE CTR01 – Quality Assurance in Laboratories – technical committee.

The laboratory is accredited to conduct tests on the following parameters:

Particles; Hydrogen sulphide, H2S; Carbon monoxide, CO; Carbon dioxide, CO2; Oxygen, O2; Sulphur dioxide, SO2; Nitrogen oxides, NOx Total Organic Compounds, TOC; Absolute humidity; temperature; speed and pressure; Non-methane volatile organic compounds, NMVOCs; Methane; TRS; Fluorides; Chlorides; Nitrous oxide (N2O); Chlorinated dibenzodioxins; Chlorinated dibenzofurans; PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons); Fluorides; Chlorides; Heavy metals; Sulphur dioxide (SO2); Ammonia (NH3); PM10, PM2,5; HCl, HBr, HF and halogenated compounds [Cl2,Br2]; PCbs.
