Direct assessment of pipelines and integrity management

ISQ provides inspection services on pipelines, using the applicable codes, thereby responding to the needs of assessment and management of the pipeline integrity with the help of a duly skilled team.

Direct assessment of pipelines

Inspection by means of direct assessment of fuel transport pipelines, even in circumstances when the use of conventional inspection tools available is not possible or is not economically feasible using, therefore, “pigs” that perform this kind of inspection navigating inside the pipes.

Identification of threats and deterioration in the installation to define a strategy to anticipate degradation mechanisms, their exact location and to control its comeuppance to ensure the integrity and security of the installation without interfering with the operating conditions of the pipeline.

Management of the pipeline integrity

ISQ uses management systems that ensure the current integrity of pipelines in a ongoing and documented manner to reduce risk.

These systems enables us to check the status of the pipeline as a whole and thus define strategies to ensure integrity of the pipeline at any time. The integrity management system comprises, besides the aspects related to the mechanical integrity of the pipeline, both operation, maintenance, inspection/monitoring of status and safety, along with other aspects such as health, hygiene, environment, population and general public.
