Acronym: Gamma – Ex Project Designation: It is intended to develop under this project an air system with remote operation (RPAS – Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) prepared to be used in scenarios where BQR threats appear, through monitoring actions and chemical and radiological monitoring. The GAMMAex project also intends to extend the use of RPAS, to scenarios where there is a danger of explosive atmospheres, through the construction of an ATEX (Explosive ATmosferas) certified system. At the end of the project it is intended to obtain: An aerial system characterized by having navigation autonomy, capable of being operated remotely in scenarios where there is the danger of exposure of operators to Q and R risks, with the ability to operate in explosive atmospheres, through the construction of an ATEX-certified system, is one of the differential characteristics of RPAS, presenting itself as a technologically innovative solution, existing systems. This system will have several operational applications highlighting: the ability to use in the visual and/or thermal recognition of the affected areas; identification of human presence (e.g. victims or terrorists); obstacles; logistical support in NRQ operations (e.g. delivery of equipment and spare parts); obtaining other information during reconnaissance operations (e.g. monitoring of operational teams, surveillance of the intervention zone, etc.).
